I Wonder

I Wonder

A Poem by Mauricio Montoya

I Wonder

I travel a world I don't know.

As I stand on a rock,

My view,

A vast open sea.

How far must I reach?

To obtain infinity

Day by day,

I've walk across these rocks,

In my view,

 All I can see,

 Is,

Vast open land,

No matter how close I get,

The distance always seems an eternity

But as night descends I pray for light,

As I lay on the rock I've walk with,

One thing I know for sure.

My heart will always be home.

Its crazy how you can be doing the same thing everyday hustling you know and you still dont reach your goals. Some may say that you're never satisfied with life yet its that greed that keeps us going and no matter how far you get, you never forget where you came from (that's just my take on this)...great write, I enjoyed reading

As long as you never forget where home really is, the world's there to be discovered. Seems the place we want to really be is never quite reachable but, to stop searching means the end of a spirit .. do you think.

Mauricio Montoya this is another work with your name written right through it. Is the work hopeful or in despair? Well the reader ponders and the writer knows. 3rd last line doe not marry up to my eye. This may be reader's cramp. Overall another good, deep poem from our Mouricio!

this is done exquisitely. We all get lost in where we want to be and where we should be but we always know where home is. That is where our heart lie. The flow is done smoothly and I love the beautiful description you have poured into this piece.
