Our Linda Amor

 

  towards the sky,

Hoping to touch a cloud, 

with my eyes.

There’s an abundant beauty 

the world always offers.

 I Yearn for you, 

so I can share.

what I see

 I fill my dreams of thee 

to keep me near.

 a distant heart, is empty,

 when you’re so far.

How can I come closer?

Without your sunshine

 by my side.

 The joy of  laughter fore fills me,

The present of your beauty surrounds me

There’s nothing, more which could endear me

For it’s everything I adore.

 In this Tierra Linda

It is you.

This is how I feel about the nature-abundant haven where I live. For most of this poem, I felt this was a love between two humans & I was admiring how the beloved is painted in a wide variety of attractive ways, great details (not just saying I love you becuz you make me feel good -- lame -- like so many love poems do). But then when I realized this was love between human and mother earth, that's when I really came to admire all the ways you illustrate the good feelings we can get as we love nature (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

oh my Fran Marie once a friend when i was on the road when i back back i thought you were gone because you no longer on my friends list i wonder why you remove me and now you're here. their are few i hold dear to my heart. you are a love i could never see or have but nevertheless a love i shared i was young and so were you but we still write and share please accept my friendship because its all we have to write again so thank for taking the time and review of what i become and you for what you have grown to be. for that i'm grateful to be your friend.

I took french... but I know Linda means most beautiful
mi is my
amor is love
so it's either my beautiful love or my love Linda (using Linda as a name)

Oh wow, this is very sweet, I hate to admit to being emotional about flattery but if I were that girl, I would be very impressed. I love your first lines, they are a rather curious way of describing sight. Your third stanza flows very well and is very sweet. Great piece.
