Forgetting

Forgetting

A Poem by Mauricio Montoya
"

Can't remember

"
I was young quick with the wit.
Now I'm old and lost
slow before I can speak.
How could happen, I'm old
Yet I'm still.alive, I remember
What I could never say.
Sometimes I'm can't find thought
Crazy because I know it true
I just can't prove
What I forgot
Only to find
I will remember
.what I saw
Its b***h getting old

Very relatable Mauricio!! Listen, I remember things for a minute and then forget...all the time...the brain ages too quickly... and it scares us....when I look for something specific and then a second later i forget what I was looking for...old age ain't for sissy's!
