Oh Tamara

Oh Tamara

A Poem by Mauricio Montoya
"

My sister a letter for her

"
Oh Tamara I forget when we we're just kids
Oh Tammy we.we're just Catholic
When we went to the same school
A street call kissaling.
In 1969 we we're in the old country
I don't remember we we're there
Oh Tammy how could I forget
Yet I don't recall yet you still love me
One day as kids our path cross again
Homeless a day to be remembered
Only to be forgotten for years
Until dad had slept never to return
Oh Tamara how could tragedy
Bring us back together again
Yet you still love me
But now with conditions
Because I forgot you
When we we're kids.

Love should never have conditions…..but there are events or circumstances that blind us and make us forget what bonds us together in the first place….and sometimes we forget why we separate….perhaps silly reason…traded however can re-new the bond….lovely Mauricio

Sisters huh?..Got two myself...hahaha. Yeah, the greatest of weaves we love without condition but not always like, such is the heart of age and life, and yet such a wonderful thing to even have a sister. Enjoyed your recollection and sharing. Telling her you realize that she loves you still is a wonderful jester but writing her poetry hopefully breaks the thicker ice. I hope she reads it well and all continues as it should. Thank you for sharing~

A love that lasts through misty memories but a trust that is shaken and requires proof. Lovely

Oh thank you very much for sharing your thoughts may all be semi with you.
Such a touching letter. If only those conditions were erased. Nicely expressed Mauricio. All good wishes.
