Live or die

Live or die

A Poem by Mauricio Montoya

To slip or die to run or hide
To be alive or cry is pride
We want to recognize the tears that drop
Sadness leave when we run from a stop.
Knowing what's left, the end revoked
What we thought inside, is invalid
Now without sight we want to see
That what we refuse to believe
The love we cherish that make you and me
If only we had insight not blind,
But clear for us too fight again.
Because from the dark comes light.

I thought this was a James Bond accolade but it is much deeper with a message that we should all heed
One that you no doubt lived through
