Reaching for the sky

I believe we write what we feel, I've read many good writes on this site, love reading but not as good, I'm a simple writer, hope you like it.

I was reaching for the sky
But what I see, I saw.
Should I bow or jump to sing
would I know the song.
A love never Left.
Just a dance went wrong
It's where you stand
That allows the move.
It's not below where you will end
But how you get out of the hole
To see what you have inside.

Why do we reach for the sky? Is it Him or some special being?.... we must learn to be free, but first we must look inside ourselves to know how to dig out of a hole...to reach for freedom, love, an untroubled mind, less chaos....only then will we begin to know ourselves and how to get out.....
A truly nice poem, and one that makes you think.
