Last RiteA Poem by Mauricio Montoya
Do my words melt
before it hits the ground Like snow of forgotten lore Deep in my thoughts Robert siad a wagon Would be my doom Before I take my sleep Yet I write when wrong And never when right But time has passed And so has frost As cold it may be I find peace In that I believe But never true Yet I still write Finding my words Will ever loom Not in a cart like so many Yet I will in my right From my heart Write that, What is deep © 2022 Mauricio MontoyaReviews
