A Poem by Mauricio Montoya
"

the few

"
friends

there are many friends
but few i can count on my fingers
some leave but we forget those who stay
in a world of love and hate
were close to those who cant see
and run away from those who believe
always blind from true love
we refuse to hold so dear
and when everything ends
it will be those
who stood behind
never lost
but still our my friends.
now that love.

Wow,thank you for reading and thanks for making my day.
Your poem points out the reality that many people spend more emotional energy on the ones that leave, rather than to appreciate the ones who quietly stay (((HUGS)))

friends come and go through life
you re blessed even if you have only
one true friend..

true friends stay with you when you
are having a hard time of it and at your
lowest point.. The others just passing through in this world of love and hate

Nicely expressed poem here
