Divide Divine

Divide Divine

A Poem by Mauricio Montoya

Devine separation
then
conquer and divide
so they,
whoever.
shall never rise.
Always want
and can never have
something of lost hope
they never had
killing each other
for that's all that's left
but gains nothing
in return
Because,
In the end the piped piper
claims all the bets

Interesting lines penned in this one. Sometimes when I heard the news broadcasted from large cities I wonder is fighting and killing all that happens at night in those places. I appreciate the rural life and feel for those who are innocent and get caught in the crossfire. Thanks for dropping by my work. Sara

I agree my friend and you are welcome.
The best way to conquer is to cause division among people. They are easier to control when they won’t band together for the greater good

My mind wandered to soured relationships. I was also reminded of a song. Killing me softly. Love should not be a killer in anyway. Once something is dead, it doesn't rise again. First of yours I have read I believe. All good wishes.
