Trash

Trash

A Poem by Mauricio Montoya
"

rubish

"
Trash
When you see someone in a dumpsters
Their searching for hidden treasure's
Some will burn our flag
Because what we believe
They think is trash
Some say don't trash me
Think of kinder words
But if your talking trash
Then maybe you lack
What we have inside.

WOW! This is a stunning treatise on what's going on in our country these days! People don't disagree anymore, they consider "the other side" to be rubbish, spouting trash ideas & courting disaster. Some of the rioters at the Capitol this week were wearing "bumper stickers": Democrats are EVIL!!!! That's the way the rhetoric has been pushed by the hatemongers, with the prez taking center stage at the bully pulpit. I long for a time when we can just disagree again, not have to slaughter the opposition. Very thought-provoking ideas you convey! (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

I have seen 40 countries. Many bad places where there is hunger, homeless and great suffering. I spend six months feeding the starving with the Army. I learn. USA isn't so bad. I liked the poem and I understand the purpose of the words. Worthwhile and meaningful words shared my friend.

We need to respect each other and you are welcome my friend.
I do Admire Your Leading Into A Very Used Statement. Your Leading Gave a Line which Gave an Even More Emotion to A Statement that Initiates Pride. I Do Appreciate Your Writing Style and Found it To be Interesting as Well Played. May I ask if You are a Former Addict? I too am A Former Addict and What Indicated to Myself that You May be a Former Addict is the "Searching For Treasure". I Know Many People Who Love "Rubbishing" and Found the Most Interesting Even Peices of Art. I Find that Myself I am a Fan of "Americana Antiquity". Although I Never have Rummaged, I Never Got the Chance to! :)
