Dear Light

hope and faith

Dear Light of the world

   When you speak every word

   is crystal clear and

   separated into many colors

  

    so no matter what shade we are 

  

    in your eyes we are all the same

    only darkness can allow

     the many shades of gray

     That enables us to see

     and take to heart everything

      You say.

i have many friends of different faiths but our views are similar when we see the light, so i wrote a letter to whoever that may be to shed some light in what i see

I really love this poem. I found the Light after living in darkness for many years. Perfect Love, Radiant Light, The Universe, God. It matters not what it is called, it connects me to my true nature and to every other human being. As you say, "in your eyes we are all the same."
