great winds

great winds

A Poem by Mauricio Montoya
"

life

"
Great winds blow and breezes flow
Late whines the old who truly know
While the young grow slow
But wisdom glows for all to sow
With age comes time
We won’t let go nor forget
Life will sort those who yearn
And those who won’t
For the wind blows for all to see.

Your poem harkens to how life can be so unpredictable. Just when some people believe their ducks are in a row, the wind comes up & renders a scene unrecognizable. I love that your winds discombobulate young & old, wise & clueless . . . we are all being blown to smithereens . . . maybe we'll end up sharing a chapter we could never have foreseen (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

True words written my friend.

The wealth of a long life. We made many mistakes and we try not to repeat. Good to be young, I tell the children. I tell them to travel, test life and have some fun. While you can. Outstanding poetry my good friend.
