I need to let go; it's for the best

But my arms; they no longer work

I need to be free; I'm longing

But my wings; they are bleeding stumps

I need to run astray; you're always there

But my legs; they have stiffened up

I need to cry away; you're haunting me

But my eyes; they stay dry for days

Let go. Move on.

Why can't I pass this test?

Fly back. Let it out.

I've only tried my best!

I need to love you; you're perfect

But my heart; it's split in two

I need to kill you; you're deathly

But my fingers; they're frozen around the trigger

I need to hate you; you're evil

But my mind; it's idiotic

I need to want you; you're perfect

And for once, I let it go...

...I need to devour you; you're perfect

But my teeth; they're broken

...I need to wipe away your ashes; you've vanished

But my smile; it's become too cruel

I love to hate you, my dear.

I love to take your blood.

I hate to love you, my dear.

I hate to eat your heart.
