Guy Friends

My best friend, is a guy.

who talks to me,

comforts me,

who sticks to my side,

through all my troubles.

No, we don't like each other

in "that way,"

we are just friends,

like you are with

your friend, who's a girl.

Just because he cares for me,

and you could care less...

doesn't mean we have to love each other.

It may seem like it,

because we aren't the "typical"

type of friends.

He does more than comfort.

He hugs me,

And holds me tight in his arms.

He gives me his jacket, when I'm cold,

He stands up to others, who bully me.

He doesn't take anything less,

than what I expect of a boyfriend.

But I'm not his,

and he isn't mine...therefore we are friends,

best friends.

I really wish it were that true LoL Very good poem though....I wish people weren't possesive, jealous, and all those great things about a relationship LoL Keep it up!! :o)
