You Make Me Feel

When we first met,

There was no threat.

Fast forward two years,

I've shed my tears.

Then out of the blew,

You came through.

We haven't spoken in a while,

But you still made me smile.

We talked until dawn approached,

When all our secrets came afloat.

We didn't know what would happen next,

The whole thing was pretty complex.

You've made me feel,

Which is surreal.

I hope we become more,

Go back to before.

I know you only see me as a friend,

But for now I'll just pretend.

There's so much I want to say to you,

Though I can't seem to carry through.

You make me feel as if I was enough,

You make me feel I should live it up.
