How To Start The End

What I thought was the end,

Was really the first beginning.

It wasn't long until you became a best friend,

And my head started spinning.

Each passing day,

I liked you more and more.

It was only 7th grade,

But so hard, I hit the floor.

Fast forward a year,

And here we are.

We were oh so near,

But yet so far.

It won't be long before we graduate,

And we won't see each other ever again...

When everything will escalate.

And I'll go back to being panic-stricken.

I don't know what I'd do without you,

You've been there and known it all.

We've finally reached our break through.

And we've had our close calls.

But how do we start the end?

Where everything stops?

When everything we were just descends?

When everything we had just drops?

I wish this would never end,

When you and I can be forever...

'Cause you and I are best friends.

This just can't end whatsoever.

So how do we start the end?
