Stop PretendingA Poem by Lygheadon't ask who it's about.
Just stop pretending,
I'm done with it all. Your lies are annoying, It hits me 'til I fall. I know you don't care I know you're just using me And honestly, it isn't fair I thought you were a friend, can't you see? You're blinded by your boyfriend, And you're blinded by your lover. For you, I turn and bend... But it's like you're undercover. I've lost you once, And I'm losing you again. You act like I'm a dunce And I've trapped you in a chain. I act like I'm fine When I'm about to break out You've passed my fault line, I'm left in nothing but doubt. No wonder I have trust issues, No wonder I isolate myself. You treated me misused... I'm in a living nightmare. Stop pretending That you really care, In my torcher, you're unrelenting As I stand there breaking apart you just stare. I know whose there for me now And I'm not going back to you So I'll come up to you, and take my bow. 'Cause you b*****s taught me I can make it through. So stop asking why we don't talk If you're going to be stupid, think twice. On my road, past you I walk. To a better life, to be precise.
