The Darkest Side Of The Moon

The Darkest Side Of The Moon

A Poem by Richard Mueller
"

It's something

"
The cold out here in the middle of the wasteland,
nothing besides perhaps my pride shining brightly
The dark out here in my land of enchantment,
where I'm born free, home free, and roaming
The craters and holes surround my essence,
perhaps this is a metaphor for my emptiness
The kick up of the dirt, the dust, and the rock,
somethings I can't help think I am perceived as

Such a melancholy feeling provided in this poem with sort of a dream-like vibe. Very well done!

Very melancholic, appropriate dark imagery and nicely worded.
