Observation #4

Observation #4

A Poem by Richard Mueller
"

Poem based on observations.

"
It's only 8:50 in the morning, the shades are pulled down over the windows
of the second floor English classroom of which I sit in for 30 minutes more
The bit of light that shines under the shades hits the glass of the cabinet
holding plastic bins, old, worn papers, books, boxes, and bunches more
It's only 8:52 in the morning, about to watch a movie as part of the curriculum,
Cinderella, particularly, because we're talking about gender stereotypes in the media
But enough about that because time has flew by, 9:21 in the morning,
I'm off to my next period -- Spanish, go figure, am I right?
