Men

Men

A Poem by Richard Mueller
"

Or woman too. Interchangable to say the least.

"
I saw a man, he was eating concrete,
I saw a man, he was towering over,
I saw a man, he was looking, mortified,
I saw a man, he was on the phone, frantic,
I saw a man, he was uncaring to the situation,
I am a man, I went up to the tower,
I am a man, I socked one in the dragon's mouth,
I am a man, I stood over him, looking resolute
I am a man, I helped the man up from the concrete
I am a man, I care enough to help every one of my neighbors
