Ice

Ice

A Poem by Richard Mueller
"

Dying

"
Slipping over the ice, drowning under the water,
I swear I broke the ice, I swear it melted to water
My clothes got soaked, my mind was shattered,
my clothes were tattered, and then I lost my mind
And there's nothing like freezing in the glacier,
there's nothing like lungs getting fat with liquid
Maybe I'll be saved, saved one day from the cold,
maybe I'll be saved, saved one day from the frost

You described the meaning of this piece; dying – maybe it’s me – but my thought process cried out ‘Cryogenics’
That branch of physics and engineering that involves the study of very low temperatures, how to produce them, and how materials behave at those temperatures.

I was thermally impressed by your take on ice!
