Bones In The Closet

Bones In The Closet

A Poem by Richard Mueller
"

Let go

"
Brush your hair aside and tell me that everything's alright,
even when I know that it's not so easy to just forget the past
Cover it up with some sand and dust, maybe it will go away,
go away tonight, for me and you, just go away for good
Please, oh please, just live with yourself and so will I,
we'll go away tonight, yes, we'll go away tonight
