Tidy Up Routinely

Tidy Up Routinely

A Poem by Richard Mueller
"

Monotonous and forever

"
Cleaning out the gutters in my head
Made my bed, read a book, myself lead astray
From reality and it's actuality, so I could just leave a while
Cleaning floor tiles, all with a smile, perhaps not...
Monotonous, the same old thoughts scroll
Stroll along my mind, soul is out of time, not whole
So far gone each and every day that passes
Mangled mess, tangled wires, wrangled

But unknown what to be done with

I love the details of this it's such a nice read... also this is very pretty sounding & relatable; my favourite line is "cleaning out the gutters in my head" because it's the perfect way to describe the feeling of having thoughts that are stuck and are restricting your mind from being free
