Cloudy AfternoonA Poem by Richard MuellerWe All Have Our Cloudy Afternoons
Rain falls, skin crawls, mind stalls for time
Because the mind has to find time to comprehend The meaning of this rain, when will it end? See, it's cloudy whenever we'd rather it not be And it's really starting to get on the peace of mind's nerves "Just wait, sit, be calm" said the mind's eye as it observes "It'll all be over soon, this cloudy afternoon"
