Moments

Moments

A Poem by Richard Mueller
"

Memories are a treasure and to forget is something I'd never want to do

"
You see, over the years I've grown fond of the concept of memories
It fuels me, it drives me, it gives me hope to live life comfortably
I think why I grasp onto anything to give it mental value is because
I simply want to take those things and build moments on them so I can sit and pause,
Reflect on every shining image I see in my mind's eye like that of a projector screen
I've seen it once, I've seen it twice, I've seen it left and right and simple and clean
But I wouldn't mind spending everyday just thinking and pondering life's events
It's the only thing that keeps me sane, let's me hold onto my common
Sense.
