Walked For A Dead Soul

Walked For A Dead Soul

A Poem by Richard Mueller
"

I dunno

"
I can say I've walked thousands of miles
Just to watch the light leave your eyes
Tribulation consumes me as I face these trials
But I'd be lying if I said I don't want to die
In the end, though, you took a part of me with you
And so you leave it at arm's length in your sunken grave
There's little me, left to wonder why and look for the clues
Adventure is interesting and addictive, but to be with you, I
crave.
