Puppet

Puppet

A Poem by Richard Mueller
"

Poetry.

"
Smile through the smoke and throw your body to the wind
Ponder on the things you've learned, but then simply rescind
Puppets, the show of giving up on yourself and being controlled
You're a public building where people think not to not walk your threshold

Feedback! (PS I'm not making it longer. It's fine as is. Don't ask or explain that it would be "better" by being longer).

Richard I must say I love your stuff and there is no need for it to be long it is fine how it is. I can tell you wrote from the soul as cheesy as that may sound it's true

I Iike it. I do think it could be longer but only because it's a thought that can be expanded on. I'm tripping over the double negative "not" x 2. I like the opening. Smile through the smoke... to me it is saying remain composed and resilient in the face of adversity.
Nice to meet you.
