She had in which she lostA Poem by BreeA boy brings light to a girls world, but she leaves him for another whom she believed to be that light. When she realizes that she was wrong, it was too late to get back the one she truly loved.A reason there is not As to why I am so numb. The memory of happiness still burned in my
mind; Reminding me but never comes.
The moon begins its demise. Oh, what bliss the sun would find As it illuminates the mind, If only one could push rewind.
As the shadows were lit, a boy Of he only she would dream. The unknown mesmerized her. Of what wonder he had seemed.
He brought life back to her eyes, And made her like a human once again. He was there for her and did what he could Simply to make her smile.
He brought flowers and song To what used to be a dark mind, Yet she look it for granted. He was surely one of a kind.
She met another whom She believed had brought the light. She became captivated by such power For it was quite a sight.
The girl ran away to her hero And destroyed the boy’s heart in turn. She lost what she loved for another who could never love, But it was too late for the darkness would soon return. © 2018 BreeAuthor's Note
