She Won't TellA Poem by BreeA story about two girls who once loved one another and the true events of what happened once they had broken up.
And she looked at her as one stares at the moon, in amazement and curiosity.
Lost in the galaxy of unknown and the thought of her smile. She looked at her like no one else had. She stared and stares into her deep green eyes And saw what seemed to be a twitch in her upper eye She was lost in her beauty and before she could get away, She was wrapped in the lies and games she would play. “How could one be broken if they had never been one piece?” Her heart was ripped from her chest and was left to die. She lie there staring at the moon wondering why she had fallen for such a wicked person. How could one been so evil? She cried until there were no tears left to cry and screamed until her voice was dry. She ran from her feeling for many years, just hoping that they would disappear But they never went away and haunted her late at night There was nowhere to run and she had to face her fears She got up and smiled through her tears, walked up the street where she used to be. She buried her belongings and hung her jewelry on the tree. As she turned to walk away she saw her standing there holding a basket of random things They made an awkward eye contact and continued on their way until the very next day She was awaken but a soft knock at the door, who could it be it was a quarter to four? She crept down stairs over the cat lying on the floor Slowly opened the door so find her standing there. In her hands were a bouquet of flowers from her garden and a hand written note wrapped in a red ribbon. She was shocked to see her but invited her in. She was handed the note and began to read and began to tear up but held it within. The two had talked for what seemed like an eternity and agreed to try to move on for certainty. The pair are still close friends, though her eyes don’t seem to amaze me anymore and she can’t quite look at the moon just the same. She still hurts inside but wont show is and will never tell just what had happened with evermore. © 2016 Bree |
