Her Wall ViewA Poem by tiana hernandezAs you read between the lines you will realize it is based on a woman's abuse, and unwanted pleasure, by the man she's "in love" with, and this is written by someone close to her.
Oh, darling as I look at you
How can I explain to you what to do? In the middle of the storm When feeling in the wrong Not every soul deserves pain Not every soul could truly remain In the mist of hurt Of pain taken to dirt In the center of blackness Of bruises in redness Of scars sealed Where skin gets pealed And how can you feel? Asking yourself if this is real? Oh, darling if only you saw If only you could standup tall To remind yourself "I am strong" To know right from wrong To view different viewpoints And the do's and don'ts To look in the mirror and see pure beauty But instead see a black eye full of cruelty Look down to frown Light off, door close Late night and one dose "Pain please go away" And it's so sad that you can sit there and say "I am okay" Night after night Banging unbalanced left to right Yelling and talking loud When you cover your ears to not hear a sound Looking for you for "passion" Knowing your reaction No is not an answer Wishing the night can finish faster Where your cover And sober But till the morning She'll be suffering Starring at the ceiling for the unwanted As the night gets darker Noise gets louder And the time goes by slower Oh, darling. Hello, to the morning.
