Undone Repetition

Undone Repetition

A Poem by tiana hernandez

All you saw was her walking away
With not knowing what she had to say
As you lift up and stand beside another
Knowing how you felt for her was colder
You know you miss her
The thought of her
Her touch
Oh how such?
The way she was
The way she felt
But as it slowly walks away
You let her more and more everyday
You give her reason
For why the season is the season
And why she has every right
To hold her heart a little more tight
From you
When you have nothing else to do
You invite her
Not your not an enough cure

You’ve hurt
You’ve pushed away
Now you leave her to walk away
See her with your eyes
And you face up to the lies
She was real
There was never a lied dead
She was the true
Even when you went ghost she thought of you
Now what?

Stay or go?
When a part of you says “whatever,so”
She doesn’t deserve the come by whenever
Or to think your more clever
She deserve to need you
To feel you
To hold you
But instead
I guess we’ll pretend
That five minutes seeing her was nothing
But to her it meant everything
Or a couple minute would be okay
Knowing it was a tight schedule everyday
You didn’t think that way
So instead she felt like you pushed her away

And now as she walks away from the place
She sees you and not looks you in the face
That upsetting is burden
And for sure this was certain
Fast to say a “friend”
But who knows if they laid in bed
So she’ll pretend she doesn’t care
Pretend that its fare
And hope for one day
You will understand everything she felt and had to constantly say
