Never Will She Understand

Never Will She Understand

A Poem by tiana hernandez

Cry after cry
The tears she wipes become stained dry
Tear after tear
As the feelings said out loud are her fear
Judge after judge
While the guilty walks around with a mysteries grudge
Question after Question
Not realizing the hurt sensation
Why after why
As all she did was only try
Enough was enough
But what was it though?
Years after years
More and more tears
Quietness after quietness
She's slowly becoming a mess

Now to before
Why did it change for?
Happiness to sadness
Where is the happiness?
A true smile to a slightly dead smile
Why was the real smile left to file?
A real smile to one that comes with a story
But why never a true sorry?
From sweetness to madness
Why leave her with questions?

Never will she truly understand
Never will she truly comprehend
The madness
The grudges
Or even get the answers to her questions
