The Pain In Her Silence

The Pain In Her Silence

A Poem by tiana hernandez

Your own blood
Can let your tears flood
Your own half soul
Can leave you in question into show
Oh the hurt
As you say lower your skirt
Oh the pain
As you try to regain
Regain into another persons life
Not being a wife
But not wanting your half soul being one ever
While having your past held onto forever

You cant let your first birth be happy
Always making her feel like she's doing crappy
Your own part
Growing and growing as you tear her apart
Let her live
You already did what you did
You've made your mistakes
Let her learn to take her own intakes
Let her breathe
And see
Let her see her own truth
In her own booth
Let her grow and go through her own steps

You cant live for two
You live for you
You have your life
Don't stab the innocent with a knife
Lead her the way
Don't control her
Give her more space
As you slow your race
Is it hate?
Fate?
Jealously?
Or curiosity?

Everyone has one
But you had your life and done what you done
You have a past
Been with guys that didn't last
You had your loves and falls
That left you with multiple calls
You had your heart breaks
That left you with low breathes to intake

But stop affecting her
With everything and a no cure
Stop hurting her deeply
With never calling her sweetie
Never holding onto her during her first heart break
Or being the one who can hold onto her while she takes
Oh the silence
Growing up to slowly seeing the reliance
Not having her to lean on
Never listening but always being sworn
Never seeing the pain in her eyes
As she looks at you eye to eye and lies

Wanna know something deep down,
In her room, she'll frown
On the streets, she faked and acted like a clown
That is who she became
She became her own
While you wanted yourself clone
She is not like you
And that is the true
She is different then you
She does what she has to do
Not looking back
Always staying on track

But how will you know?
When every time she says something to you, you put on a show
She wishes you would know the truth
Just sit down at her booth
Be quiet
And see how she will always say lets try it
Or does new things
To see the beautiful world and all the seas
But how will you see?
When all you see was who you chose to be
In the past when you were young
And fell deeply and did wrong
When it all happened so fast at the same age
And now it is like she's living in your cage
Cage of hurt, pain, and fear
Of you not wanting her to go through it
So you tell her stay and sit
Just trying to protect her
While hurting her and leaving a scar
A scar of you not answering the questions of why?
Why pass it to her and let her cry
While you sit and deny
That it is not the reason why

Let it go because oh dear..
She is sorry
She stopped to not worry
She has realized
That she is recognized
As beauty and strong
And also not being wrong
For following her happiness
And not worrying about others madness

She is done being quiet.
