Rewind the timesA Poem by tiana hernandezWhat can I do to rewind the times? Where the feelings were seen with both eyes The laughter was there Everything felt amazing and fair What can I do to rewind your smile? To bring it back without it showing a broken tile Where did that smile go? Did I hurt you that bad or you don't know? Could you tell me? Or we're just going to let it be? What can I do to rewind the sound of a real laughter? The sound of an amazing person acting more crazier Where did he go? Did he get up and took another blow? Did I break his heart so bad he cant even look me in the eye All he can do is deny Deny the entrance to me coming back To messing with his path to getting back on track What can I do to rewind that night we met Where I told you to pick me up and you said bet Where you showed up and said its better late then never Till now acting like we are done forever A friendship gone Or more then that's gone Blown away By the last words we both had to say From feeling protected To now making you feel rejected From healing your heart To being the one who unintentionally broke it apart What can I say? I do think about you everyday I did give you reason And I know you try But here we will both deny And have to keep quiet and lie Lie about it all Knowing you were ready to fall Looking down on my phone Knowing you want to be left alone Not seeing a text by you Or a call from you Nothing but emptiness Nothing but closeness So I guess if I had a chance I would rewind the times Rewind the smiles Rewind the laughter's Rewind the warm Rewind the times *Where there was no emptiness and life was played out not thought of..
