Her connection

How great that night was

Red lights

Blue lights

All around

While everyone danced

All that mattered was him and her

Hand in hand

Dancing side by side

Eye to eye 

As the lights turned all around

Moving with the beat

As she got closer to him

Pulling her closer as he felt the attention

All he saw was the smile she had

The happiness she felt

The fun she was having

And he continued.

Continued to make her happy

Knowing that after all of that

The night would be over

Two came

And it was time to go 

Walked with her home

And nothing else mattered but them two

The conversations there

The dancing in the streets as if it was a movie

It all felt like a dream come true

She walked and starred at him for a second

As he got closer and held her hand

She felt safe and herself again

Slowly feeling healed she pulled away

Not wanting to get too close

Not fully away from the other

So she kept her distant

Got to the house and she didn't want to leave

Had a good couple of hours

And the amazing night was over 

As she opened the door to the house

He slowly put a puppy face

She felt the love and looked at him so preciously

He loved her and you could tell in his eyes

He cared

 you could tell how he looked at her

And she went inside 

To stand against the wall and smile

For the amazing night she just had
