Let me go
I can't move
You hold me here with your sadistic smile,
Leave me alone
I want to run a mile
(Tell me you love me
Then tell me I'm dirt,
Tell me you need me
Then laugh at my hurt )
Give me your shoulder
Let me cry all my tears
Then cut me to my core
Then sent me to my fears
(Tell me you love me
Then tell me I'm dirt,
Tell me you need me
Then laugh at my hurt )
Tell me what's wrong
You said
You'll always be here
Then you told them what's wrong and you were never there
(Tell me you love me
Then tell me I'm dirt,
Tell me you need me
Then laugh at my hurt )
quite a very heartfelt poetry it is. the shades of your hurtful heart be well dappled 'pon the texture of words you've come up with. short. simple. & yet very effectively penned up. the scenario of today's youth is also refracting off your poetry. i'm sure would be looking forward to reading your work!

Well, I like the repeating base stanza. Havent seen that for a while, To hold on and to let go is really being done by the same person, just two different hands, the right one is holding on and the left hand is letting go, why have hands at all if they both fight their own battles? But those are just my thoughts
