TRICKSTER!

TRICKSTER!

A Poem by thumbelina
"

You tricked her, the fairy in the woods.

"
Each and everyone of us are playing a game
And pretending, of course, that there is no shame.
But if truths really were to be told
We'd notice the tactics a'growin old.

You throw out the bait
I hook on and begin to suffocate.
Simply... This was fate.
And, you figure: since none of us care,
Why should anyone play fair?
This IS fair. Fair is fair.

You do not abide by the rules,
For rules were intended to keep us in character,
Proceeding only as fools!
No, you are not the fool.
But nor are you the king,
For you do not ride upon a mighty mule.
TRICKSTER! That's what you are.
You tricked 'er, the fairy in the woods.
