When I shed this skin
Will you watch in awe;
Mesmerised,
As if something,
never seen before?
Or will you tremble,
Disturbed,
By the freedom...
As you're watching
these atoms,
Reassemble.
When I tiptoe
Along delicate branches
Does it invite fear,
Making you unsure,
Of that which way to go?
Or do you like my dance
Under the starlit sky,
Where I shimmy past
Lunas watchful eye?
Trance -
Ending...
Do you feel it,
That lifting vibration?
Let your eyes go blind
As you open your mind...
Revel,
In this beautiful sensation.
Come join me;
These things I speak of,
Are all for free.
'When I tiptoe .. Along delicate branches .. Does it invite fear, .. Making you unsure, .. Of that which way to go? .. '
From imagination to reality! There's a sensuous stream of invitation in this unusually phrased poem. I truly appreciate its crisp yet silky phrasing; there's a hidden agenda within a story and plenty of emotions scattered like confetti. You have a start and a finish and importantly, a fine between!
I've only recently started to write poetry so I still have a lot of room for improvements. I write solely as a way of expressing my own thoughts and emotions. Every poem I share is a piece of myself t.. more..
