You

You

A Poem by T.

I love the way you feel me,

a divine hesitance in your touch

The way we wrestle,

and you always let me win

You pretend I hurt you,

and then we both laugh

I know you’re joking,

you flash a smile

Pushing me onto the bed,

so gently you put your weight on me

Our fingers intertwining,

as our lips meet

You tell me you love me,

my cheeks turn red

I say I love you too,

we both know

We both know,

this will last
