Silver moon

Silver moon

I dont know any better title so if you have any suggestions please let me know. thanks. comment and rate! hope ya like it

"
We watch the silver moon
while we're in the woods
The trees are swaying
and the rain is pouring
Behind us is an old church
with shattered glass.
The shattered glass reminds me
of my heart that once was broken
and it also reminds me of
how windows can be replaced.
You have a piece of me now
so please don't hurt me
or my heart won't stay together
for, it has been stitched too many times
and I can't afford the cost that comes along
not even super glue can keep the pieces in place.
I pull you toward me meeting your eyes
breaking the silence, I say " I love you"
We look into each others eyes
and the world around us becomes
much more beatiful and clear.
But only for a moment will this last
We can't stay long though
we can see each other again
when the world becomes cold
and no one will be around us.

I can't believe I'm the first person to review this. Heart wrenching and amazingly touching. I love your use of imagery here. So sad, I hope they find some peace.
