That Day

That Day

A Poem by Julie

Through dead eyes
I see the pain
of lacking love and the
doubt she has gained.
For many years, she had to hide
hiding her feelings is what
killed her inside
that day she died
her soul bacame cold and numb.
standing in the rain
watching her life pass by
didn't do her much
by helping her die.
The heart she once had
was burned by flames
too many tricks
that led to head games..
