Death Wish

Death Wish

A Poem by Julie

She was holding a black rose in the palm of her hand
as she looked at the dark sky.
She had always admired the moon and stars
that encouraged her to be brave and move on.
She closed her eyes  tightly and made a wish.
The wind carried the rose out of the palm
of her hand as if it were fragile and let it
fly away so it too could be free.

This definitly has a lot of symbolism, I actually wrote this a while back.. and again i edited this one as well as my other poem. I have another profile that I've made recently but I lost my username, any help? It says message sent but I never received the message! I wrote This Mask I wear and To Come Back.
