Death WishA Poem by Julie
She was holding a black rose in the palm of her hand
as she looked at the dark sky. She had always admired the moon and stars that encouraged her to be brave and move on. She closed her eyes tightly and made a wish. The wind carried the rose out of the palm of her hand as if it were fragile and let it fly away so it too could be free.
