Together We Are One

wrote this for a loved one in the hospital.

"In and out, come and go,

We travel to and fro,

Riding on the spiral,

Knowing it’s eternal.

All that is, grows, expands,

For thought and mind demands,

The new and ever clear,

From our hope, or our fear.

We see all that has been,

And wonder if again,

It will grow into more,

Than what it’s been before.

Hope and holding thoughts true,

Finding there’s more we knew,

Before we came to be,

Physically you and me.

All are the same and one,

collecting for the fun,

like sounds that are combined,

create music refined."
