Marble CoincidenceA Story by the thrillerI am not a communist, im the opposite. There are 5 children standing in a room, each of them have a velvet sack with a drawstring to synch it tightly closed. In the room there are marbles scattered randomly across the floor. If the kids all begin, at the same time, to go around and pick up the marbles and put them in their individual sacks, some of the children will probably have more marbles than others. It would be very rare if they all had the same number of marbles. Some children may have been in a corner of the room with very few marbles or maybe none at all. There could also be a person in another area of the room that was covered with too many marbles. There are many games you can play with marbles. Some games require many marbles some games don't. Our theoretical friend with few marbles will be limited to the number of games he can play. Meanwhile our other friend who picked up a lot of marbles in the crowded area of the room can play all the games and still have marbles on reserve. "Mr. no marbles" will live a limited life. He will be held back by his complete and utter lack of marbles. Mr. "large sack o' marbles" will have many opportunities. He will be blessed with a plentiful life and he will one day pass his marbles on to his children and they will play with the marbles one day too, while the child with few marbles will hand over his famined loot to his future children. © 2012 the thrillerAuthor's Note
