Night

Night

A Poem by Jason White

Slowly, the sunny day changes into dusky night,
The mild night air lit by the moon's heavenly light,

As I walk upon the scarce leaves they quietly crumble.
The frail waves of the glistening lake slowly tumble,

The brilliance of the stars appearing from out of the night to be seen,
I look down to see the grasses' dreary green,

The world looks so miraculous by the light of the full moon,
Then the vivid crimson colors of the dawn end it all too soon.
