Life is just a road to death

Life is just a road to death

A Poem by threelittlebirds
"

dunno what it is or what it means but it poured out of me like lava out of a volcano :)

"

The wind is changing

And with each gust I am blown away

The moon is waning

Amongst the trees I make my own way

Fidelity takes

And armful of hates

Unfairly thrust

Upon  a lack of lust

Pausing to pick

Up the blossoms

Fallen from grace

The wind is the final chase

The final decision

Made with precision

Unlikely, as the haze descends

Fistful of amends

Ready to fight,

Ready for flight,

Ready to manipulate

The cruel twist of fate

The twisting and turnings

Beginnings and burnings

Toxic fumes in the funeral parlour

Burn, burn, acrid, ashen faced

Stony, silent, fingers interlaced

The smell of good things gone to waste

It happens, it’s life, it’s fate

Life is just a road to death.

Washed up on the shores of abandonment

The waves of time, foreboding and ancient

Doesn’t matter how

Innocent you are

No  second chances

No mercy

That’s life

Just a road to death

dunno if it's a poem or lyrics, I never do but aren't they really the same? anyway it would be quite nice to leave something for me - a rating or review - but you don't have to.
