Something new, something different!

Still in writing this journey mine,

So far it's been an eventful ride,

With all the turns, dead ends and crescents,

I can say I truly have been there.

New horizons just yonder

The smell of land not too far

Birds rejoicing in joyous song

The past fades quickly but memories not gone.

Smiles abound, I have found peace

Music in my ears, heart and legs

Finally, a whiff of freshness 

You are my undoing,

I am exposed, yet protected

The journey was worth it

Something new! Something different!
