Broken Beds

Broken Beds

A Poem by Justin Wade Thompson
"

This is one of my earliest poems. It was originally published in a chapbook entitled "The Last Drama on the Face of the Moon", published by Interior Noise Press.

"

that girl with the tattooed breasts and gargantuan a*s ruined my bed sleeping on the same side every night and her bullshit antics pestering the house cat i've got a new bed but now i'm right on the edge even with the skinny girl that i sleep with now. i have magnets stuck to the A/C unit because i don't have a refrigerator and half the lights don't work anymore but i didn't like them anyway the garden is unkept just rocks and sand i can't even keep up with that what the s**t? but at least i've got food to eat and Rilke and Jarry and Buk and McGuane too. i'll nail my hand to the door with the butt-end of a pistol bleed all over that tattooed b***h and lay up in the hospital for a turn they like me there. have always treated me nice and with respect which is more that i can say for the rest of you.
