The Bullfrog Dreams of Flying

The Bullfrog Dreams of Flying

"
He wants to shake the moss off his back
and leave the tad-poles behind.
They remind him of his misspent youth
and wasted Spring.
The blackbird sings of blue skies,
far off lands,
and the bullfrog dreams of flying.

An excellent poem full of truth and realistic message.
I think if we are not designed for that by the Almighty, we can dream all day and night like the Bullfrog, but at the end of the day we need flying instruments to do that to augment our lack of something. Took thousands of years of man to achieve that.

You are welcome sir.
To each his or her own, joy in living, joy in doing your own thing.. anything to keep happy and behaving as one 'almost' should. Methinks there's a moral here, Thomas, sir.

Thanks, brother. I appreciate it.
Instead he wails at night for his misfortune...
those dreams died in his first pond.
Maybe in the end he will still get to fly.
