Gonzo goes out with a 45 blast. He was kicking a*s in Aspen, we knew it wouldn't last. The rambling, gambling man of journalism put Fear and Loathing on the map, but in the end, he couldn't stay. It's bat country.
I miss Hunter. I worked as a student journalist in (community) college, he was something of a personal hero. At least he went out on his own terms, he looked pretty rough in interviews by the end.

Yes. He was in a lot of pain. Thanks for commenting.
He fought the good fight, I guess. It is hard to survive in a tough country where people are bat crazy.
We can all learn a lesson from Gonzo.
At least he was not a Bozoo
I guess you don't have to know him, or have personally been there to appreciate Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas .. and I reckon Gonzo was just playing possum ..
